Trouble with updates on Treo 650

I looked to see if I could find this topic and couldn't so it this has already be talked about, my apologies. I’ve had my Treo 650 for about a year and did one update to 1.15 on it without issue. However when I tried to do the update to 1.17 I had major problems. I finally in desperation removed Warfare Inc and tried the update. It did work, but still was problematic. I am wondering if others have had similar issues.
