The legend (surprisingly on-topic)

I once heard of a great legend. A long time ago, in an interesting land, describable only as the internet. A tale of a great web site, that has been locked away, forever. This legend was known as warfarers paradise. The once well known, highly eledged paradise for warfare incorporated users, disapeared. The legend tells of it, although it's in an awkward language, we have managed to deciffer a small ammount of it's scriptures. It states the reasons of it's downfall, and speaks of a comeback. What happened to it, and why?
