I saw this tweak for the palm OS; it's called Steroid 1.0.

Should I get it? Will it damage my device (Palm Tungsten E2)? HAve any of you tried it before? Did it work well?

Discription:
Steroid is designed to increase the performance speed of your PalmPilot. This is accomplished by increasing the system clock frequency, hence the speed at which the processor works.

Hmmmmmm.

This is a little off topic, but I do know that if you OVERCLOCK YOUR CPU TOO HIGH YOUR DEVICE WILL BURN OUT. Going a little higher won't hurt, other than that - uh oh!

I realize going to high can fry the chip, but how high do you think this one will go? Has anyone tried it?

I tried going from a freq of 16 to 17 - my pda crashed :(


I wouldn't recomment this product.

I found another overclocker; PDXClocker. It works GREAT!
