I'm a console and PC gamer, and beyond games like solitaire and yahtzee, I never thought there would be any games worth playing on a phone. I recently bought a Treo 650 and soonafter downloaded the Warfare demo and was impressed not only with the gameplay but the graphics as well. So even though I thought 30 bucks was a bit steep for a game on my phone...I bought the download.

Now here comes the fun part...the licensed version of the game allows me 2 views for my gaming pleasure. The first one the graphics are big and blocky and the amount of terrain viewable is too little. The second one the graphics are much better but you need a magnifying glass to really see what you're doing. In either case the lettering done on the intro's look blocky and terrible.

Is this some sort of joke? I didn't pay 30 bucks for this game. I want the demo version back.

Anybody know what gives?

Well I've ran Warefare Incorperated on a Clie NX73V, a HP RX3115, and a Palm TX and I've never had any problems with things being to small to see or blocky looking.

I didn't have a problem until I downloaded the full game. The demo version was great. But the full game looks nothing like the demo I played.

I already deleted it and re-installed it...the same thing. I've got 2 options...one is 320X320 color low-res art, and 160X160 color low-res art. The demo was running in something different. I would think the Treo 650 could run something a little better than low-res...the demo was in high res (at least it looked that way to me)....but those were the only options I was given. Neither is really playable.

For a Treo 650 you'll want to make sure you're using the version of the game made for 320x320 resolution as that is the resolution the Treo runs at.

Problem solved. Apparently Sprint had an older version of the game. I contacted the makers of the game and was given the updated version. Very quick reply from them as well. All is well again.
