Changing title and/or rank

How do you change a player's title/rank, you see I'm making an alternate storyline, and I want to be able to make the player's rank change.

Use the built-in pvar "rank"

Here are all possible 27 ranks, in order:
-1. Challenger
0. Newcomer
1. Mining Operations Trainee
2. Mining Operations Specialist
3. Certified Basic Miner
4. Mining & Security Specialist
5. Certified Secure Miner
6. Senior Secure Miner
7. Lead Secure Miner
8. Secure Mining Site Supervisor
9. Secure Mining Supervisor
10. Secure Mining Base Commander
11. Jr. Director of Secure Mining
12. ACME Up-and-Comer
13. Operations Fast Tracker
14. Operations Management Trainee
15. Operations Manager
16. Operations Middle-Manager
17. Operations Bureaucrat

Not all pvars, and not this one. pvars don't need the $. A few built-in ones used it.
