I just recently purchased a Zire 72 Special Edition with one of those little nifty WiFi cards. I was joining a game with my friend, but it keeps freezing in the middle of the game. Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Wish I could help, but my knowlege of multiplayer is very limited.

Does it freeze on every map you try, or are you only playing using a single multiplayer map?

Would it have something to do with the number of units you have on screen? Maybe if you played a game but each of you kept the number of units down to, say ten each, just to see if it freezes....

I don't know, I'm guessing here, but maybe the Z72 doesn't have enough heap memory (or a big enough processor?) to manage WiFi sdio and Warfare Incorporated at the same time, and runs out of heap memory after so many minutes?

If freezes on every level. Usually when my opponent starts to attack me. The shortest time I've played was yesterday when I built a base and then a power generator. then it froze. Whenever it freezes, I have to do a soft reset because nothing works anymore. I got that "Fatal Reset" thing and I always have to Hard Reset my palm when that comes up. The maps that Iv'e played are: Desert Riches, Junkyard, The sunken temple, and another multiplayer one that WAS NOT made by another player.

Phillip Earl is right in assuming the Zire 72 cannot do WiFi and Warfare Inc. at the same time. We have had a couple other players with the same problem. It is good for surfing the net and checking email though.

You really need an integrated wifi device to play Warfare Inc. over the Internet. Such as Tungsten C or LifeDrive or a PPC.

You can also use the Bluetooth and a Bluetooth access point to JOIN only, not HOST. The last solution would be an in-cradle solution using Softick app.
