If you want a custom avater/signature picture. Email me or PM me what you want.
The styles below are the quickest if you want an avatar/signature picture the fastest way possible. I can do other types of effects. The harder they are, the longer it takes for make them. I prefer having up to a maximum of 3 effects per picture. Maximum of 2 per text for quickest Results. If you want Style C, That can be the only effect for text, you cannot mix them. Style A 🖼 image no longer available Style B 🖼 image no longer available Style C 🖼 image no longer available Style D 🖼 image no longer available Style E 🖼 image no longer available Last edited by guitarist809 on Fri Jul 15, 2005 9:43 am; edited 4 times in total |

joau? thats a cool name (i cant do that cool characters).
The image that says palm101 and is on fire, is called a signature. The exploding palm101 image is my avatar. The avatar is right below your name. the thing under your message is your signature. |

It will take longer than I thought -- something isn't working 4 the explosion. I can do the zoom blur, but it looks cheesyier, but if you want it faster - go wit h that.

I think I like style D out of those. But could you make the glow a green instead? The green color that the text in my sig is in. That should come out nicely. Do the text as Area 51 official. Let me know when you get it done, thanks!
P.S.: Oh yeah and maybe a smaller version of that same image that I can use as an avatar, if that's possible, thanks! P.P.S.: One more thing: On the larger image would it be possible to include animated gifs, like the one I'm currently using? What I think might look cool is to have one of each of that gif on each side of the text, kinda like this, but of course with the effects I talked about: 🖼 image no longer available Area 51 official 🖼 image no longer available Hopefully you understand what I'm shooting for. Let me know how it goes. |

Ok, sorry about the delay on avatars, photoshop had this dumb error that wouldn't let the program run, but i did something to the computer, and it works!
I will begin to work on every1's avatars The avatars will NOT have a 1 day make. it will probably take me a week to make an avatar/sig for sum1. i don't have as much computer time as i once did. Last edited by guitarist809 on Mon Jul 11, 2005 5:04 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I love what you did, my sig looks great now! It's just too bad the site told me the pic I wanted to use as my avatar was too wide I think, unless there's some way around that, I'll just use the gif itself I've been using because its small enough as it is, it probably wouldn't benefit from being made smaller, anyways I have photoshop too on this if I want to edit it. Probably not, though, I like the work you did on it anyways!

Your icon took twice as long to make as others did. What I did first was the effect you picked out. Then i exported it into Macromedia Flash MX to do the little alien guy moving. Then the picture had to become a vector based image in flash. Then I had to export it out as a gif for the animation. (Sorry about the non gradient glow. It would only let me use 255 colors for the web and not the 2 million is should of (Flashes fault)).

That's OK, truly its a work of art, you did a great job on it. I never thought about how long it would take, but it turned out quite nicely. Thanks again! I am even using it on my Ebay home page! http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/area_51_official

25. Yeah, I guess you are. I never thought about it, I guess you gotta be 18. I've had an account there for about 2 or 3 years now. It's a great place to find whatever you want, and make a little extra money selling stuff!

Me too... 100% positive feedback is cool. I hope I can make it last as long as possible. I know things happen, but when it does, it should make it drop down to only like 99.9999% or something like that....

Thats like not even 1megapixel! mines 1.0 or 1.2 but there are all these dots on the picture. What kind of ipod u have (mini, nano, regular?), nano's are pretty sweet ! |

dunno, but I hear it has up to 1000 songs!
The Apple Ipod's are a rip off! Heres why: 1. You end up paying like $100 for the name Apple Ipod 2. I was searching for something that could do BETTER than an ipod and found one for $125! 3. Everyone has them 4. They get stolen a lot (at least where I go to school). There you all have it |

That's all well and good, doesn't bother me, cuz it was given to me for my birthday. Personally, considering the cost and effort needed, it wouldn't have been my first choice either. But then again, when you have friends who'll give you mp3's for free, that's irrelevant, I guess. Plus all the music CDs I have I can put those songs on it. I don't have a Discman. I just gotta find where the hell I put that USB cable for this thing...

But I should be getting the PC version of that in the mail soon, with 1 and 2. Found a good deal for them on eBay. |
