Just out of curiousity, are you british? because the "I find that to be rather..." sounds like something a brisish dude would say (No offence or anything)

Lol, no. Its something that Peter Griffin said when he was pretending to be a genius.

He just won a game of trivial pursuit (his questions were at the kindergarten level, but he didnt know) so he started thinking he was a genius. So later he was watching a talk show with some smart guys on it. One said "So what do you think about sending our troops to Iraq?" and the other one said "I find it to be shallow and pedantic." and the first one said "Yes, shallow and pedantic indeed.". So that night, Lois asked him how his steak was, and he said "To tell you the truth, I find it to be rather shallow and pedantic.".

It was funny....
