Okay Im confused...can you Play the singleplayer packs dl'd from the site with just the demo, or do I have to buy the game?

To host a multiplayer game, you must buy the game. However, players with only the demo can join multiplayer games on any map on the host player's device, I think. I haven't played multiplayer, however, so don't quote me on that.

no, not the multiplayer with other ppl...i mean the single player missions that you can download...for some reason when i select one that i loaded on, it doesnt give me a play game button.

Hydra is quite right. You need to buy the game to play custom missions.
