Which .pdb are you talking about? You can download everything you need to play the core game here:

http://www.warfareincorporated.com/download.php

and the user created missions here:

http://www.warfareincorporated.com/missions.php

If it's the mission editor you're looking for, it's here:

http://www.warfareincorporated.com/missioneditor.php

It is Windows only, and if you're running Windows 98, you'll need Microsoft's .net framework, which can be downloaded for free here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&DisplayLang=en

That's pretty much everything Warfare Incorporated-related I can think of to download! :D Hope it helps!

ps - oh, and if you're on a pre-osx mac with Internet explorer, you might experience problems downloading the missions. If the mission you just tried to download has a name like "download.php" then just rename the mission to whatever, just make sure it ends in .pdb and WI will recognize it!

Okay, can you be more specific? Which part, exactly, didn't work? What are you trying to do?

What you have to do is install

1. Warfare IncorporatedA.prc - The Warfare Inc. application for Palm OS 5 devices.
OR
Warfare Incorporated.prc - The Warfare Inc. application for Palm OS 3 and 4 devices.

2.Warfare Mission Manager.prc - The application that allows you to manage additional Warfare Incorporated missions.

3. Finally, 1 of the data packs according to your palm and sound effects if you want them
-htdata416.pdb - game data for 160x160 grayscale screens
- htdata816.pdb - game data for 160x160 & 160x240 color screens
- htdata824.pdb - game data for 320x320 & 320x480 color screens
- htsfx.pdb - game data for sound effects if wanted

Then you have to send the .pdb map files to your palm/ppc via a normal hotsync.

Also although this should go without saying, if you game isn't registered, you can't play any of the user-contributed missions :(

Finally, you should then open Warfare using whatever launcher you have and then click on solo in the welcome screen. Next, click on Play Challenge Mission. You should then see the mission that you downloaded. To wrap it all up, click play mission after highlighting the mission you want to play :)

If this doesn't work, I would suggest using a file managing program such as filez to see if your phandheld got the map files

The mission manager really is only included to delete a mission on your palm or to beam a mission to a friend 8)

To use it, all that you have to do is launch the program and then highlight a mission and click on beam or delete

Hope that this helps :D

Okay, quick question: have you bought the game, or are you trying to play custom missions with only the demo?

If you haven't paid for the game, the custom missions won't work.

Now, assuming you've bought the game, are you running it from internal memory or the card?

If you're running it from a card, try putting the missions in internal memory.

Okay, now do me a favor and check the lower right hand corner of the title screen. It should say v1.2. If you see v1.0 then you need to download the latest version of the game, because user authored missions only became available in v1.1, with multiplayer coming out in v1.2.

If you do have the latest version, the next thing to do is make sure all user-authored missions are in the same folder as Warfare Incorporated, and that everything is on your device's internal memory. Making sure they're all in the same folder is important, otherwise they may not show up in WI even though the Mission Manager sees them.

Are you running this from your Clie, or your XP?

Third link down on the download page. This will download all the files you need for your Palm. Download them onto your desktop computer, not your Palm. Unzip the contents and hotsync them to your Palm. Make sure all custom missions are also on your Palm, and make sure the new version is registered. Then try to play a custom mission.

Don't want to kick a dead horse (TOO LATE) but, I have Warfare Inc loaded on my external card (treo 600) and it works. I can't see the extra missions (neither can the warfare mission manager). Will they work if I load JUST the missions to the internal memory?? :?

The missions have to be on internal memory, no matter where the game is.
