My friend has Warfare on his SJ-22 it has sound, very quiet, but it is there. I have a TJ-27, can't get sound effects, and can't uncheck the mute button in sound options... I believe I DO have the required SFX file. Is there any other way to get the sound effects on mine, or is my model just unable to play sound? Please let me know, thanks! I'd really like to be able to hear this its cool listening to the little guys say stuff on my friend's Clie!

Well since this place closed and re-opened just after I posted this it pushed the message all the way to the bottom, does anyone have any helpful info as it relates to my previous post in this thread?

I think that your prob is due to the fact that you might not have installed
MQGX.pdb and that you should also have .htsfx installed on your main RAM not an external card. If not, I would suggest to just re install the entire game

Hope that this helps and good luck :D

Hmmm... I think I have tried this already, but had no luck. I do have both of these files also, and do keep everything on RAM. I reinstalled them back when v1.2 came out. I will definitely be happy just to reinstall the game from scratch, if I knew there was a chance it would work.

Thanks for your help! :D

I know that this sounds stupid, but under game options, do you have the sound at 100. Also, does sound work on any other programs?

Interesting. I won't comment on that first part, lol... Anyways, under the Options menu, then there is a game options menu, it has game speed bar, lasso selection, and difficulty. Sound isn't in that screen. I go back one screen, hit the sound button, and I am at the sound options. Here, there is only one check box, Mute. And it won't clear. It just stays checked. And there is no volume controller.

Now, I did take the program and all related files completely off my system, re-downloaded the zip file fresh from the website, and replaced it back onto my system, all the necessary files. WarfareIncorporatedA.prc, htdata824.pdb, htsfx.pdb, MQGX.prc, and Warfare Mission Manager.prc. The result of re-installing didn't change the fact that there's no sound playing. And yes, just about every other program that play sound on my handheld does so.

I just find it somewhat odd in how I have a TJ-27 that has Palm 5 but can't play sound on this game, but on my friend's SJ-22, which only runs Palm 4, but does play sound, despite the low volume. If I could get a definite answer as to whether or not my handheld can play the audio on this game, that would be fine. I just find it curious that it can't at this point, is all.
