I've been working on a new mission pack for quite some time, now, and it has been in early beta stages for a couple of months. I'd like to get it out, so I'm throwing the beta testing wide open to anyone who emails me.

First, a little about the pack:

It's a four mission pack, but there are more than four levels. I took a cue from Spiffcode and separated "plot building" from mission play, so there are also a couple of sub-levels that are there only for cutscenes and dialog. That way you can go back and play the missions you like without wading through all those ecoms!

Another way I'm trying to make it more enjoyable is by limiting the ecoms. Most of the information you need to solve a mission will be displayed in the objectives menu. When this information changes, you'll receive an ecom. That's the only warning you'll get. This way, hopefully you'll be spared annoying chains of ecoms in the middle of your second or third time playing a mission full of information you already know. One ecom per objective shift. That's it.

I've also kept an eye on the replayability of the mission by including a hidden "extreme" mode in each playable level. As they are, they are on an intermediate difficulty level, so new players can rejoice in the fact that there is a new mission pack available that won't frag them in the first ten seconds of play, and all you warmongers out there can still play a level pack that has some teeth. At least, I hope it will....

Anyway, if you've read this far, and are interested, drop me a post with your email address, or email me directly at phillipmccollam@yahoo.com and I'll send it to you.

Sure is! Look for even more changes to that one, though. I'm assuming anything I send to Guitarist goes to you, as well, right? I'll be sending more in a couple weeks....

I'm not sure if I have your email or not (recently switched email accounts) - go ahead and pm me with it just to be sure! I'll send you a copy of the next beta directly (should be out in a few days, give or take)
