Its avaliable to who program games to test them for the new palms cuz its not 100% bug free not like plam os 5...

you can donwload a SUMULATOR for you COMPUTER off of palmsource.com under the devolopment page. Under the most popular things I think.

Naa my father goes into edit under a file in warfare inc and thers your key anyone can do it and I bout softstick like that just press edit and it will say the key and just cpy pact and u done!!

Yeah, I wish cobalt was out... I played around with it for a while on the simulator (It's awesome being a dev, we get access to the coolest stuff).

It's friggin AMAZING. The UI is incredible, blows WM away. And it's none of this Half-68K-Half-ARM crap that garnet did... wish it would come out soon. It would be nice to develop for.

Um can u mail me the emulator + the Codait (unless its all in the emulator )? And how you got axes to it anyweay?

AND LIST SOME cool stuff I know it has better wi-fi bluetooth things... but whats so cool that u thing plese list em.

lol! I'm not gonna email you the simulator. Palm gave it to us Devs only for a reason.

I haven't had much time to play around with it, but the UI is frickin awesome. I haven't seen much multitasking in it yet though...

Wow it's been a long time since I've posted here...

But anyhow it doesn't look like any hardware manufacturer's plan on putting Cobalt on a PDA. Palm already said they don't plan on moving beyond Garnet anytime in the foreseable future.

On top of that PalmSource is already developing a new version of their operating system which will be based on the Linux kernel (so it'll just be Palm services running over Linux). Since hardware developers know this I doubt they are going to do much of anything until it it finally released.

I played around with the Cobalt simulator myself and I have to say I really would like to have a PDA that ran it. The inclusion of multi-threaded applications would be worth the price of admission alone.

Since it would be running in the command line pressince CTRL+C would do the trick as well.

I say forget Cobalt, wait for PalmSource's Linux based platform (which they are currently working on). All the goodness of Linux with Palm services running on top of it, that's my ideal PDA.
