How about making a demo version that is built in to the full version that you can send via IR. This demo would be able to play multiplayer games, but can't host and can play the standard trial levels. Similar to the Spawn version of Starcraft, but for Warfare Inc. Not only would we be able to play our friends immediately (even if they've never heard of WI), but it would also be a great way to advertise. And it wouldn't take up really any extra space since all you would need to do this is a command list of the specific parts of the full version to send. Any thoughts?

I believe it already does that.

Just beam it over to them. It will revert to demo mode on their device, of course, but they should still be able to play any of the maps you host.

IR transfers data too slowly for it to be practical. What he means is a small-file version that can only join multiplayer games.

Could you not send it to them via bluetooth? would that not be faster (Don't have a BT device, so I really don't know, myself!)

If you have the patience, it is possible to do through IR. Although I agree the speed is impractical... if you give it a few minutes (let the PDAs sit for a while) it will work (I've tried it). Note, though, that the PDA you are beaming it to must be the same screen size, and I think is has to be the same model, or atleast the same OS (Operating System).
