In as far as this is an enhancement, this is OT, but still related. I have been reading through the posts, but I have yet to see a suggestion for a PC version that can play the saved game versions off of the PDA. Saves that battery when you are just hunkering down for for a night of serious mining operations?

I've done this once, using the palm os simulator. It was fun...
They used to have a PC version of warfare, but it got outdated and obsolete. |

The old DOS-era game Dune 2 is VERY similar to WI. You can find it on "abandonware" sites such as The Underdogs http://www.the-underdogs.org/

I would buy a PC version in a heartbeat!
Usually when we get a group together, we have a spare charger and a battery pack handy in case the games go for more than a few hours. Doing it on the desktop and a few laptops would be a blast, as would internet group gaming. |

Which one did you use? I tried the ones you get from PalmOne but none of them let me use the PalmOS 5 version of WI. |
