I expect you mean the .NET framework? Do you get any kind of error message that might help in identifying the problem?

I am new to this srry for asking ?'s u might think are dumb. I downloaded the beta version of the editor and i get this message when i go to run it. "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." Any help u could offer would be much appreciated.

Follow the steps there, it should be included in one of the updates. If it isn't then you probably already have it.
