I'd like the ability to create and edit triggers, unit groups, and switches on my Tungsten E. From there, they could be exported, synced to the desktop and opened in "ME." I like to outline my missions before putting them all together, and since I'm writing the triggers and switches and unit groups down anyway, it would be nice to be able to import them into ME and save the step of re-inputting them into the computer.

Heck, let's take it a step further and include textual editing of areas and level settings. After all, all you need to do is specify the coordinates for the top left and bottom right of each area (and the size of the map, for that matter) and you're set!

What do you think?

So you mean kind of a pda level editor? That would be good, but so far it seems impossible.

Not so much a full-blown editor as a way of creating triggers and such in a text editor. The syntax would have to be perfect, so premade "tags" could be included, similar to an html editor like BBedit. Export the file to the memo pad, then import the text file into ME.

For that matter, the ability to export/import triggers from ME would be a good one, as well!

Good idea, although complex.

Scott has long said he would like to make so we could import/export triggers in text format. Maybe that will happen someday.. (sigh)
