In level 2 the speed of the game goes one of two ways. It either picks up or slows down, depending on how you decide to accomplish the mission. One of the ways that you could go was the fast way, make it to the end without building a base, or base or build a base and have a longer game.

Which way did you take, I am just curious.

If you want to beat the mission the fast way, make sure that you destroy both (2) generators when you reach them if you don’t:

I built up the largest force I could and then went "hunting". I obliterated their force with my "mob".

Well, whenever i see enemy power generators, i immediately destroy them, so right away when i came around and saw the generators, i destroyed both. Then you can just pass on trhough like you own the place :)

ok what i did was
i went over an pass betwen the two turrets(that was firing my)
i win
then a message says :
good work andy destrying the generators was quite brillliant
and that is how i figured out that i have to destroy the generators
i never stlabish base
because i dont like to have incomplete objetives
