Hi. I have the registered version of WI, but when I just downloaded the Mission Editor, and tried to start it up, it said "A REQUIRED .DLL file,MSCOREE.DLL, was not found.". Where can I find this DLL or how can I fix this? BTW: I have extracted all of the files to th e same folder.

I'm not exactly sure, but I do know you need some .NET framework gizmos. Try looking in the readme.

1) Install .NET Framework v1.1. This can be installed via Windows Update http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
2) Move the entire contents of the zip folder to a destination folder of your choosing.
3) Open up m.exe (double click on m)

Also, I have just followed Microsoft's instructions, and found that I still don't have .NET Framework 1.1, even after I've updated evrything.

:( I found the DLL for download online and put it in the right directory, but I still get errors about .NET Framework. I need the URL, if possib;le, not just "Windows Update", since it is not there.

I know you're going to hate this answer, but go to Windows Update, click on Pick Updates to Install, let it search. .NET will probably not be a critical update, so you will have to look through the catagories (links under Pick Updates to Install) on the left of the page.

There is no one link.

Thanks, but I just fixed it myself. I went to "SnapFiles" and downloaded it. Now it works, but it is REALLY confusing. I click on "Help" but it opens another Mission editor, not the help file. SO:

How do you select which team the polayer is on, and what are the little boxes all about?

I also am confused about the Mission Editor, maybe even a little scared! Is there a walkthrough that helps you construct a level using most of the editor's capabilities?

Verdagon's website has a guide like that. I forget the exact URL, but check it out.

http://warfareinc.tk/

It's Operation EAGLE, inside the mission editing section.
