I want to ask, if I can play multiplayer Warfare with my friend over two CF WiFi cards without signal? And what is Ad-Hoc?

Ad Hoc or Peer to Peer - Playing between two computers (usually PDAs or Laptops) only. There are no other outside LAN components such as a hub, WiFi point or router between the two computers. These LAN components are inside the two computers doing the Ad-Hoc. Follow these steps to set up.
1. The HOSTing computer must establish its' own IP number internally. You must do this in the WiFi preferences of the computer. You must select Ad-Hoc as your network of choice. If you do this correctly, your computer will make up its' own IP# and then ask you for a name for your Ad-Hoc network. I named my network "Al" and the device selected 169.254.100.34 as an IP# for itself. You can do this on both computers, but only if you both want to HOST later. Only the HOST needs to do this. Once you have done this on one of the computers, go to the next step.
2. HOST - The person who followed Step 1 above must be the HOST for the game. Warfare Inc. will set u up as the HOST when u select PLAY MULTIPLAYER, then tap HOST and select a map. Now the HOST must wait for a JOINer. Next step.
3. JOIN - The JOINer's computer must search for the other computer's WiFi signal. The JOINing player should select PLAY MULTIPLAYER. His/Her computer should see the HOSTing player's network name. Select that network and then the game will display the HOSTing computer's name on your computer. Tap the HOSTs game and tap READY. Voila.
You are now playing a Peer-to-Peer or Ad-Hoc game.
NOTES: Wi-Fi normally times out and shuts off after 3 min. This means, all JOINers have 3 min. from when the game is put up to JOIN before the HOSTing computer shuts off the WiFi signal. Once the game begins, the WiFi stays on until game ends. Get a big battery. HOSTs can change this time out depending on their WiFi device. My Tungsten C can host for 15 min. but the default from factory is 3 min.
