There should be a forum devotedly entirely to sharing war stories of people battling each other on multiplayer games via bluetooth, the internet, and whatever devices Palms use (I have an HP Ipaq 2215) to connect. There we can give the dramatic tales of what happened in a battle, how we managed to make a comeback, how we crushed the enemy or got crushed by them, and that kind of thing.
Sure, I bet this sounds like a bad idea. But there's some really cool war stories in another forum (for Age of Mythology Heaven) that I used to visit all the time. Please... before you complain about my bad ideas, take a look. |

How about we use mine and moveit's forum for that? It's not like it's being used for anything else. Everyone head over to:
http://www.warfareincorporated.tk/ ...and go to the forum. Whenever you finish a battle, post what happened there. We'll have a grand time. |

Today, I'm going to try and connect to the internet. Then I'll play you, Verdagon, if it works out. And, if I get a good game in, then I will write a story.

Hey Verdagon, when you connect up the PPC to the cradle, do all you have to do is go to warfare and find the IP adress you need? I still havn't gotten the internet stuff to work, but is this easier?

No IP addresses you need can be found in warfare, lol.
Playing: Find out the IP address for the hoster. Connect your PPC to the PC via the cradle/cable. Make sure activesync is activated, and go into warfare. Select "Play Multiplayer" and there should be a button or two or three that come then. If you have bluetooth, One of the buttons will be "bluetooth". If you're connected properly through activesync, another button should be there, with 192.168.xxx.xxx on it. Click on that one and play a game! |

I've played via bluetooth with loogie--and won--so I know how that works. I've just never gone over the internet before.

If you can play via bluetooth, then you can surf.

Okay. I think I've gotten that far. Pity your not on in the mornings, though, when I am. I'll try hosting a game RIGHT NOW, but I don't know if anyone will read this in time. My IP Adress is 192.168.55.101. I'm going to host team assault, cause I've never played it before. It's 7:19 now, 4:19 there, so I hope you or someone else sees this.

Hey, I'm three hours late. 192.168.xxx.xxx is not the ip address you should be giving people.
go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ to get your REAL ip address |
