Hey I've noticed that units appear on the minimap as 2x2 squares. The minimap could be significantly decreased in size if it was changed to 1x1. Why hasn't this been implemented, and is it possible? Maybe there can be an option to its size.

Um, shouldn't this be in the enhancement forum then? But I do like the idea.

Whoops. Forgot there was an enhancement forum. In that case, I'll post in there. Thanks!

At 160x160 everything is 1x1 in the minimap. 320x320 (and above) it is 2x2. It is actually 2x2 on PocketPC too (240x320) - we plan for it to be 1.5x1.5 on that platform eventually.

We thought about having scaling options, even the option to turn it off. Out of simplicity's sake we've left that out so far.

why not just 1x1? or maybe have an option in the display screen?

That's not the issue, I think the option is fine to add, I'm saying we left it out of the current releases out of simplicity / time sake.

Ah, ok. In that case, I look forward to the smaller minimap.
